Errington House - Good Food

Breakfast is taken in the dining room with guests all sitting round the large dining table. There is a wide selection of cereals, fresh fruit, yoghurt, different breads and oatcakes, teas and coffee, and of course the traditional freshly cooked “Full English” breakfast which features newly laid eggs from the hens in the backyard, and always goes down well with our guests.

Two or three course home-cooked evening meals are available by arrangement subject to at least 48 hours notice and to our other commitments. Carolyn is a very good cook and Lex is always happy to chat over a complimentary drink before dinner about the area, its history, where to walk, the best places to see, and anything else of interest.

We are lucky in that there are several good restaurants and pubs in the area at which to dine, and we supply a list of those we particularly recommend. As a consequence, however, of the house’s rural location, although not far by car none of these are within walking distance. Taxi services are available for those without a car or who prefer not to drive, but should be booked well in advance of departure time.
